#Scattergories list 9 answers download#
I love games that incorporate thinking and learning! We love this one! You can download my free printable below.Īll printables and downloads designed by The Crafting Chicks are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Highlights FAST-PACED WORD GAME: Players race against the timer to come up with answers to the categories on the list. Each list typically contains 12 categories. It can be based on a theme or on random subjects. Make your own creative list to play the game. What You’ll Need to Play Scattergories at Home. If no other player used their school themed word, they get a point! No points for blank lines. Play three rounds of the game, and take the total of the scores. A…apple, B…Bus (but you want to choose unique ones…that other players might not think of) When the time is up, each player shares what word they chose for each letter. So in 10 minutes you have to write down as many school words you can think of A-Z. For pairs and older children, 3-5 minutes is fun…then they have to think fast! Or work in pairs! Pairs are super fun in this game.

Set the Timer…choose a time (we say 10-15 minutes because our kids are small) But for older children you could set it for less time. In my experience, if they refer to the same thing, they are considered duplicates, in your example as the 'Jacksonville Jaguars' and 'Jaguars' are the same team, they should be considered duplicate answers. We are playing this version at our Back to School family night. The rules are not exactly clear on the definition of duplicate, so it is truly up to the players as a group to decide. My kids love playing Scattergories…but this little twist is a fun version, especially for smaller children and larger groups.
